This bed is very similar to another we made a year and a half ago, that one had attached nightstands and was dark walnut. This is another example of the beauty of custom furniture! The wide footboard will hide a television system that can be raised with a remote control.
This model is fabricated in white oak and finished with a light stain, which highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain. The headboard is padded and covered with a light fabric, which is mirrored on the front of the footboard as well (something that was not done on the previous model). The result is a light and airy aesthetic for a large, and heavy, piece of furniture which is sure to be a focal point in the room.
The area of the footboard that raises the television system is difficult to see, and we don't have photos of the unit in action as it is assembled on site.
