We just finished the reupholstery of 2 classic French leather club chairs. The leather was torn and worn, after decades of use. We completely restored both chairs, preserving the integrity of this simple & elegant style.
As with the original chairs, we used a 'naked' hide that we patina'd by hand to achieve the vintage finish as seen below. The hide on the top left is the original, the bottom is our work and the naked hide is shown to the right.
