Finn Juhl chairs are such beautiful pieces, with their curves and structure, like they are floating from the frames. The arm rests are gorgeous, and have a beautiful, organic shape.
These FJ-01 Easy Chairs were made at Niels Vodder Studio in 1953 and weren't in very bad shape, aside from the faded and threadbare fabric. We reupholstered them and gave the frames a little refresh.
Our client chose a beautiful variegated Boucle fabric that is consistent with the style of material used originally. We think they turned out spectacular!
