Large Custom Ottoman

 

We just finished a large custom ottoman for a screening room and we must say; it turned out so nice! This ottoman measures 84” L x 38” W x 16” H and is fully upholstered in a groovy Clarence House Fitzgerald Coral fabric. The ottoman is completed with a recessed oak base with hidden casters…perfect for sliding around to get that perfect spot under your feet or bring the snacks closer to you!

Custom Modern Ottoman

This is an amazing custom piece – our goal was to match an existing piece for our client, and we were challenged with creating the proportions necessary to both fit the space, and keep the aesthetic.

When we are tasked with a custom piece of furniture, there’s quite a bit of research that happens before we can even start to sketch. And it’s the initial engineering of the final piece in the beginning of the process that is so much fun.

The curved frame of this ottoman sits atop a round walnut base with an overstuffed pillow top, and exposed raw seams. We had a lot of fun making it!

Round Leather Ottoman

It's always fun to make smaller pieces, like this leather ottoman, because the details are so striking and noticeable, and as you probably know, we are all about the details.

We did a double top stitch on the vertical side panels, and single top stitch along the top and they come together beautifully with tone-on-tone thread on this rich, supple leather.

Wood Frame Ottoman with Nail heads

If you follow our blog, surely you have seen this ottoman design before! It's our most popular, most requested style, and for good reason. It's another piece that works well in any setting, and it's so easy to customize with wood, fabric, and trims.

This particular piece was fabricated with a light linen, dark stained oak and finished with nail heads in a French natural hue.

A Pair of Square Ottomans

These square ottomans are very similar to another ottoman style that we frequently make, seen here & here. The low shelf is a nice addition to the design, and the square shape works perfectly in a variety of room settings. 

We used a navy leather, accented with French natural nail head detail, and the wood is a lightly stained walnut. As always, this piece can be customized in any wood species and fabric or leather, with or without nail heads. We're flexible like that ;)

Large Tufted Bench

This large, beautiful bench was recently finished for a east coast client. It's a great example of simple, sophisticated style with the elegant tufting and heavy wood legs. The dark fabric gives it just the right amount of masculinity.

Custom Upholstered Ottoman

We've made this style ottoman many times, it's a favorite of our clientele, as well as a favorite style for us! There are so many ways we've fabricated it; different wood, different fabric, different nail heads, no nail heads, leather instead of fabric - that's why custom furniture is so special! You can customize and make it your own.

This particular ottoman is covered with a tightly woven fabric and classic French natural nail heads. The white oak frame is cerused with a light finish - it's gorgeous and classic.

Bronze Base Ottomans

This is one of a pair of ottomans that were recently finished for a client, and they are maybe one of our favorites. We made a similar pair a couple of years ago, and it's always interesting to see how much fabric changes the overall appearance of a piece.

This fabric was much different than the one used previously, it's more of a tight, flat weave, which really gives the piece a handsome, tailored look. The top cushion is semi-attached, meaning it is attached, but the connection is further inside the top & bottom cushions so it has the appearance of two separate cushions (which it essentially is!).

As with the first set, the bronze base is comprised of pieces that fit together like a jigsaw puzzle - it's as solid and heavy as it looks!
