Classic Oak X-Base Desk

Can't you just see yourself addressing your holiday cards at this gorgeous white oak desk? The style is different from many of the desks we have made recently, but we're really loving the X-base detail.

It's very difficult to see (sorry!), but the top is inlaid with smooth ivory leather, and the three drawers are lined with the same. 

A typical problem with X-base pieces is their fragility, but this is completely solid & reinforced throughout.

But the real showstopper is the base, above & below. The recessed detail is subtle, as are the curved corners, but they elevate the piece to a higher plane and the light finish really prevents this desk from looking too heavy.

Leather Wrapped Three Drawer Desk

Pictures cannot begin to convey how gorgeous this desk is in person. Fabricated in oak, and finished with a dark stain, it features three drawers that are partially covered in leather, as is the desktop and sides.

It's similar to the executive desk we shared a while back, but only really in terms of the privacy panel along the back.

The leather detail on the drawer fronts is top notch as it seamlessly transitions to wood, and the small reveal between the leather and wood is another beautiful detail that doesn't go unnoticed.

As a special addition, we lined the drawers with leather pads that have simple stitching at the edge.

Executive Leather Covered Desk

This Executive Desk was fabricated in oak, and finished with a ebonized gloss that creates a really striking balance against the tangerine leather covered desktop and drawer faces. The drawer units were constructed to look like they are suspended, and the front and sides of the desk have a small reveal detail all around.

Our client provided the oil rubbed bronze hardware, which is gorgeous and a perfect match for the overall style of this large piece. We finished the interior of the drawers in leather, as we like to do. Just a small detail, but it really adds another level of chic.
